Another British female pianist saved from oblivion: the charming Marie Novello who died tragically young (1884-1928). She studied with the famous pedagogue Theodor Leschetitzky in Vienna, and she must have had an impetuous style. She made quite a few recordings in the 20s, many of them not reissued I think.
Here she plays Debussy's "Golliwogg's Cake-walk" from "Children's Corner", with the funny quote from Wagner's "Tristan" in the middle.
