Backing Tracks and Transcription: http://benlevinmusic.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Metal-Monday-4.zip This riff uses the whole tone scale and fast down picking to create a mechanical alien sounding vibe. Metal Monday riffs emphasize different playing techniques and rhythmic feels so that you have a fun way of improving your groove and technique. Every riff requires patience and diligent use of the metronome at slow speeds. I hope you enjoy the riffs and get some cool ideas from these tutorials!
