Do wheelies by tapping left arrow while against the wall, (hold for a second to get the wheelie going, then release and tap) and you'll get point that way. Do this until less than 5 seconds are left then purposefully kill yourself. If you let time run out, you'll lose the majority of your coconuts. HOWEVER, if you kill yourself, you'll ONLY LOSE 1 COCONUT. OUT OF THE 20 THAT YOU STARTED WITH. This means you can do wheelies and build up points for 25 seconds, then start again, twenty times. it really shouldn't take long to beat Chadley. At all. Today is an easy day.) Guide Wheeler the Lenny through the levels of Mystery Island, collecting coconuts and performing bike tricks with your controls for points. The controls of the game are fairly simple. Pressing the up arrow key increases the speed of the bike, while pressing the down arrow key will bring the bike to a sudden halt. The left and right arrow keys control the balance of the bike, particularly while airborne or overcoming obstacles. The space bar changes the bike's direction. Coconuts are Wheeler's health bar, since when the bike crashes, a certain number of coconuts will spill out of the basket (like rings in Sonic games) depending on the severity of the crash. Falling into a spike trap will cause a large number of coconuts to spill out while taking a tumble when going down a hill will not cost you as much. If you lose all your coconuts, you'll lose. There will be items along that way to collect besides the coconuts. Some will affect the multiplier on the bottom left corner of the screen. When an item increases the number on the multiplier, a small timer is activated within the box that only lasts for several seconds and when that timer is active, any points you'd get from tricks will be multiplied by the multiplier. A glowing coconut will give you a shield that stops you from losing coconuts. Dark Orange Furry Berry - X2 Multiplier Blue Tongue Berry - X3 Multiplier Purple Apple Berry - X5 Multiplier Green and Red Hibiscus Flower - 5 points to your score Glowing Yellow Coconut - Collecting one of these will put a lid on the bike's basket for several seconds, protecting your supply of coconuts The major source of points are the Bike Tricks you can perform when you are in the air. Practice performing these tricks to get the hang of it. Wheelies - There are two tricks that can be performed in this category: wheelies and nose wheelies. Wheelies are accomplished by carefully balancing the bike on its hind wheel for a second or more. Nose wheelies are just the same, only that the bike is being balanced on its front wheel. 180s - This trick is relatively simple compared to the other ones. While the bike is airborne, press the space bar once and successfully land for a 180. Additionally, pressing the space bar multiple times will enhance the trick accordingly. For example, 180 is added for each time the space bar is pressed. So a trick such as a 540 will require it to be pressed three times. Flips - Both the front flip and back flip are easy to mess up if they are not executed correctly. Not only is it important to gain enough speed, but to be aware of whether or not the location is suitable for landing. When airborne, press and hold either the left or right arrow key to rotate the bike into a full rotation. Anyway, this game is a hoot, I can't get mad at it with all the rag doll physics. The trick, it turns out, is to do Wheelies (5 points per second) and 180s (will always be 1 point per 180, but you can do them safely), which is just flipping the bike with Space bar in midair. Don't bother with the flips, they are too hard to execute while in the air and I never have enough time to do them. It also seems that as you fall, if you can 180 on the ground right when the sign tells you to, you can get points to. I'm not really sure how to explain it though.
