I spent the weekend making fun of Letterman's recent scandal, which just happened to coincide with the opening of the fall season for many prime time TV shows. I'm sure that's just coincidence. Surely an employee for CBS wouldn't fall on the sword and risk up to fifteen years of jail time just to help Dave boost ratings. That would be absurd! Outrageous! Not entirely out of the realm of possibility. Still, O'Brien's gonna have to hire someone to blackmail him if he wants to keep up.
