Bent Tree residents, as well as the public, are welcome to ride and experience isn't necessary. Vickie Crowe, Bent Tree Stable Master, gave instructions on riding and was mindful that we were comfortable and safe throughout the ride. There wasn't much need to lead the horse since they seemed to know exactly what to do.

Mari Livsey, KnowPickens.com founder, was able to video and photograph on the ride, but the camera lens was knocked out of auto focus when Hank, the horse she was riding, seemed to know she wasn't paying attention and stopped for some grass. Therefore, the photos are minimal from the ride.

The trail starts at the Bent Tree Stables and goes by the spillway, Lake Tamarack and the below dam. Due to high winds we were unable to go up the mountain.
