I was one of 10 contestants to win a trip to Round Rock, Texas to bat against the legendary Nolan Ryan. The contest was sponsored by Baby Ruth candy bars. To enter, you had to send in a video showing why you were a Real Deal Sports Fan. I was one of ten selected from across the country and had the opportunity to step into the batter's box against my childhood idol, Nolan Ryan. Nolan is the all-time strikeout leader in major league baseball with 5,714 strikeouts. I was at the stadium when he recorded his last strikeout. Nolan also holds the MLB record for no-hitters with seven. He also holds the single-season record for strikeouts with 383. If you haven't seen it already, do yourself a favor and watch the movie "Facing Nolan".
