AB de Villiers set to replace Virat Kohli as RCB Captain ∼ Former South Africa cricketer AB de Villiers has been appointed as the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore side. He will replace Virat Kohli, who has failed to help his side cross the line and bag the IPL trophy under his leadership. According to reports in Karnataka’s Suvarna News and News 18, Kohli has been removed from captaincy after yet another failure in the 2018 season. De Villiers will be available for the entire season and he will lead the pack under the eyes of new coach Gary Kristen. Kristen replaced Daniel Vettori while the franchise has retained Ashish Nehra as the bowling coach of the team.
