The child was detained at the Lordsburg Border Station (pictured) which is around 75 miles from the border. She was taken into custody on December 6th at 10pm along with 162 other migrants. At 6.25am the next day, while in custody, she started suffering seizures and a doctor took her temperature which was 105.7 degrees. She was then taken by air ambulance to a children's hospital in El Paso, Texas, but went into cardiac arrest and died within 24 hours of arriving. Now, border agents are refusing to say whether she was given food or water when she arrived at their facility or she was seen by a doctor.
