This is my second attempt at this solo, the first one was too distorted and I screwed up the last lick. Mostly in Dm with a little excursion into G/Em very near the end on the rising chord. What's great about this solo is the staccato playing with Gilmours trademark pops and at the same time lovely fluidity. However it's the vibrato that makes this as it does most DG solo's. The emotion contained in that little movement sets him apart and takes this pentatonic twiddle into pure feeling. Originally played on a goldtop Les Paul with singlecoil P-90s, DI'd straight into the board with the following effects (not sure which ones were switched on!) Big Muff, MXR Phase 90, Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress, Orange Treble/Bass booster, Arbiter Fuzz Face, and custom tone pedal. Sorry, can't do tab, I learn all these solo's by ear. Give me some feedback and check out my other solo stuff on You Tube. !
