There is a shellmet in this level, but you need it to get a red coin. Therefore, you need to figure out a way to get Yoshi without taking damage. The tech needed to get Yoshi involves displacing the spring little by little with a POW block.  As far as I know, this tech was created by ev_brak. However, I did not figure it out myself.
