Just posting this bit of video to show the impressive progress being made to repair the drainage issues at the sinkhole in the parking lot of Valley Hills Mall in Hickory. This video was shot on November 11, 2018. Big trackhoes and front-end loaders are being used to move materials in place for the project. I'm planning to visit the area each week to see how the team is tackling this massive excavation and engineering challenge.
