This alarm gives an audio visual indication when the water level rises towards the top of the tank so that the water pump can be switched off to prevent the overflow. We used stainless wires from our alarm to the top of water tank which should not affected by water corrosion.

Water over flow alarm is an alarming instrument which determines availability or presence of water at a particular point or place. The principle of over flow alarm is that water conducts electricity and we will use its conducting characteristic. We need stainless contacts to water tanks with our over flow alarm upto certain point to prevent over flow.

And finally when water level reaches to its top level, there will be a alarming sound from the unit indicating that the water has filled in the tank and one can be alerted that the tank has been filled up and the water pump has to be switched off. 

Effect of Water Over flow :

1) Those overflow walls or roofs dry up over time and become compressed or cracked.
2) Those overflow increase our electricity and water bill due to unnecessary running cost of our water motor.
