Description(please read):

This fan video is about Damien Thorn through the course of the The Omen, Damien:Omen 2, and the new show coming to AETV this year, titled DAMIEN. I am thrilled about this show because the third movie was an utter disappointment to me (It felt extremely sloppy and rushed).
I am aware that the show is only focusing on the first film but, I see so many similarities with how Damien reacts to finding out who he really is in the trailers in comparison to the second film.

His revealed identity is not an immediate acceptance, it's a struggle of acceptance. It comes at the expense of his loved ones, whom he has no reason to wish death upon, but his destiny continues to reap those around him until he can't deny who he is "born to be" anymore. He's trapped in his destiny and honestly, what I find scary/sad about the second film is not that Damien is the anti-christ or that people die because of that, but that it's a very well done portrayal of someone living a life they DON'T want.

 I've seen many people say "look at the way he smiles at the end of the second film" but, honestly, that really doesn't look like a smile to me? It looks like someone who is swallowing a bitter pill. The look of "This is who I am. I know my destiny but, I didn't want this life."

The people who raised him lost their lives to his destiny (most of which he didn't do through his own will).
The one friend he loved, his cousin, whom he saw as his brother, died from rejecting his destiny and it destroys him emotionally. In fact, I believe Mark's death set into motion who Damien was to become, because no other death tears him up the way Mark's does.

This video is sort of a re-telling where the events of the first two films occur, and then the events of the show. Damien does not remember what happened to his "birth parents" in the second film and struggles to accept who he is. After every one has died due to his identity, Damien does some deep mental repressing and denies who he is, going to college so he can become a photographer. Of course, his destiny is relentless in reminding him who he really is, so when he graduates, he becomes a war photographer (canon to the show) which is a way to tie him to his military academy past.
 Now, at the age of 30, his memories have become well repressed but, people always die around him and he cannot remember why.

New faces emerge and tell him of his destiny and like an old wound, he begins to recall the events, and find that the number "666" is on his head. This causes the memories to flood back to him such as when he was at the academy and also went through this discovery. He begins to realize that no matter how much he wants a different life for himself, the past will always reveal itself and it can NEVER stay dead.

Can anyone love him again? Or, is it true that everyone who gets close to him/knows who he is, will end up dying? These are the questions he is trying to answer.
