The most crucial step in figuring out a song is "knowing" the song. That means you should be able to hum it, whistle it, sing it, or all three! Try and feel when these changes happen in the song: - Is there an intro? A bridge before the chorus? - When does the verse change to a chorus? - Does the song slow down or speed up? - Does it get quieter at certain points and louder at others? All of these points will help you "feel" the song, which will be crucial to playing it without using sheet music. Find lots of song walkthroughs on https://accordionlove.com.
