Archontophoenix cunninghamiana grows naturally from Mt Elliot in Queensland down to Mt Durras in Southern New South Wales, and up to 120km inland where it is wet enough. Common names: Bangalow, Piccabeen, King palm. Mt Tamborine (a 525m high plateau) is located in Queensland Australia approx 1 hours drive South of Brisbane, or 1 hour North-West of the Gold Coast. It is a great place to see flora and Fauna of Australia. It is also a great holiday destination with many cafes, restaurants, shops and viewpoints.
