Today, February 26, 2011, 4:15 PM, I Captured this Elegant & Graceful North American Great Egret stalking and spearing it's prey in a tidal creek on Pine Island, Bluffton, S.C. - a serene and peaceful marsh island surrounded by the May River. Examples of Egret prey are frogs, fish, reptiles, and insects.
