Two 17-year-old boys M Nikhil Raj and D Dhanush have been handed an opportunity to train with the Under-19 squad of Danish Superliga club Esbjerg fb. Nikhil and Dhanush, who are trainees of the Kickstart FC Academy, will fly out on Saturday, August 11, along with their academy coach Laxman Bhattarai and head coach Lars 'Lungi' Sorensen, a former head coach at Esbjerg. The two hope that they are able to impress their coaches in Denmark and land themselves a contract at the club.
