After the apathy of patients in Chamarajanagara hospital came to light,  backward classes minsiter Puttaranga Shetty visited the hospital and interacted with the patients about the facilities provided at the hospital. The patients and their relatives complain that the hospital didn't have enough beds. Minister Puttaranga Shetty who visited the hospital said there isn't enough space for extra beds and the room sin the hospital were built at a cost of four and a half crore rupees. He also added that adequate measures have been taken at JSS hospital in santemaranahalli to accomodate the patients temporarily.
