In this part, we finally leave Lindblum. We first make a pit stop where we meet our newest party member, Quina. Quina is probably the weirdest character I have seen in any game. Vivi notices that Quina's master looks just like his grandpa, and when he asks him about it, Quina's master sounds awfully suspicious. What could be the connection there? Then we head to Gizamaluke's Grotto, where we see the soldiers of Burmecia are being slaughtered by the same black mages we saw in Dali. Zorn and Thorn show up later, which lead us to believe Alexandria IS behind all of this.

If you didn't steal the needle fork from zanghol, Quina will be doing far less damage here. You don't need to catch the frogs with Quina, but if you catch a lot of them, you get better and better rewards, with 99 frogs yielding the best reward which I won't spoil just yet. Apparently I messed up in opening the bell doors, so I don't know what you get if you go through the other door and check on the wounded soldier.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Be very careful fighting the pink snake monster. She can use an attack that confuses your party members, which could cause a game over screen before you know it. Also, do NOT climb the vine where you can save your game with the married moogles. You will run into a dragon that will kill all of your party in one hit.
