Canada green lights cannabis across country

Beginning Oct. 17, consuming marijuana will be legal across Canada, regardless of reason. The price for legal marijuana and the rules governing its use vary by Province. The most widely used minimum age to consume is 19 years old, and consuming marijuana is, for the most part, legal in the same places where a cigarette can legally be smoked.
