Today I unbox and compare my new Shure SM58 to the Neumann TLM-103 in a LOUD ROOM to see which one is the best mic in situations where you have a lot of background noise. Clearly, the Neumann is the superior mic in controlled environments. It costs well over $1000 and it's the mic of choice for countless voiceover actors, but if you don't have a quiet room, you may be surprised at how the Shure SM58 sounds. I'm new to Voice-Overs and narration. I've never been paid to do voice acting or narration but I'm learning right now and I thought it would be great if I shared what I learn, as I learn it. Why not follow along and learn together? http://www.JoeCrescenzi.Com http://www.VoiceOverNewbie.Com http://www/VoiceOverJunkie.Com I post a new idea each day on my Idea of the Day Blog.
