Old yellow lab becomes mother to a baby feral kitten and starts nursing the kitten. She (the old lab) died a couple of months later but she enjoyed being a mom before she left. Both the lab and the kitten were rescue animals who live on our farm. We strongly urge people who wish to have a pet not to buy from a breeder but rescue animals in need as an alternative.
