This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. “Where do we go from here?” The Lucerne-based band, “Rival Kings” don’t have an answer to the question, but they won’t stop looking for one! Their songs are about life, love, friendship, pain and loss. Personal, yet universal, their songs convey moments everyone can relate to.

“Citizen,” their debut single in 2012, has been played on several radio stations throughout the world, and a remix of the song has already hit the airwaves. The song embraces the idea of us living together in one world and how, although we are all different, we are confronted with similar challenges and questions. “Citizen” does not claim to guide people or give answers, but rather inspires people along the way and encourages them to stop and think about the question: “where do we go from here?”

These five young talented Swiss musicians combine pop, rock and melancholic elements. Their songs are about life, love, friendship, pain and loss. Personal, yet universal, their songs convey moments everyone can relate to.
