INCIDENT DETAILS: 

Two people were hit by a car leaving a Christmas Eve church service in Valencia Park.The incident happened at the 5100 block of Churchward Street. A 65 year old male was transported with a major head injury along with his wife who suffered a panic attack. The driver remained at the scene. The driver stated “They came out of nowhere.”  The couple apparently did not use the crosswalk while crossing the street and was hit by a woman driving a Toyota Camry. The San Diego Police Traffic Division will be investigating.
