What are the most important causes of death and disability in Canada? Chronic diseases. And diet is one of the main contributing factors in the onset of many chronic diseases. David Buckeridge turned to colleagues in marketing at the Desautels Faculty of Management to mine available data from grocery stores in order to accurately assess and eventually influence consumers’ food choices. And they have reached out to community groups to collaborate on programs to improve eating habits.   Featuring:
