This is the Super TrackMaster time for #085. Beating this time will grant you the Super TrackMaster medal for this track. The current world record is a 2'38'309 by riolu (with shortcut in lap 3). Kind of a speed-tech-ish multilapper here with fast and long drifts. Having smooth and accurate drifts around the corner, allowing to maintain maximum speed is really important here. Especially the long left drift at 0:33 needs a good approach because all the speed matters for the upcoming straight part which even has an engine off part in between. The last double-drift combination can be a little tricky again since you need to have a good angle from the right drift in order to snap into the left drift for the last 180° turn before the finish. A lot of time can be gained or lost there as well because of the engine killer, so make sure to nail that one correctly. Speedsliding the first right downhill corner is a tiny timesaver even though it's not really worth going for it due to the car being heavier in TMT Canyon which barely gives you an advantage for the speedslides. Another timesaver which I did not use in this STM run is a possible shortcut in lap 3. Instead of taking the normal route around the 180° left corner in the end, you can jump off the sides of the ramp on the right side of the road to launch yourself over the roof on the left side into the finish. That however, is not easy and requires some practice since you need to find the lowest possible jump trajectory without hitting the roof. Especially frustrating to pull off since it's only useful in lap 3 after 2min30 of driving. Happy with this run regarding I didn't use the shortcut, however it shouldn't be hard to beat if you drive only decent lap 1-2 times and pull off the shortcut in lap3. ► This is footage from TrackMania Turbo (2016 | PC, PS4, Xbox One) by Nadeo/Ubisoft.
