Another step in my painfully slow journey through Michael Hampton's book Figure Drawing: Design & Invention. I'm still in the gestural drawing stages of the book.

In this episode I explore the 8 body parts, as well as the idea of how they tell a story and experiment a bit with exaggerating the gestures to better tell the story. I'm still a beginner at this gesture thing--at least it really feels like it--but I hope this video helps illustrate the concept a bit!
