Syria and Lebanon The ancient arabic ruins of Palmyra and Balbekk It is a simple film following a camel train which arrives at the ruined city of Palmyra. The camels walk through the ruins (columns still standing, and quite a few walls, too). The camels sit near an oasis. Their riders, Bedouin, eat and sleep. Children run around and bathe naked in the water. They appear to emerge from a building in the ruins - maybe this is still a house? Close ups of the intricate stone carving and architecture. The cameliers leave with their animals.
