Dharambir Singh (Sitar) and Kousic Sen (Tabla) performing Raag Sampooran Malkauns as part of 'Celebrating the Sitar', SAA-uk Concert Series, 26th June 2008 at Seven Arts Centre, Chapel Allerton, Leeds, UK. Dharambir Singh is one of the most prominent North Indian Classical musicians based in U.K. He studied Sitar with the late maestro Ustad Vilayat Khan. Dharambir Singh studied for his MA at the School Of Oriental and African studies at the University of London. He has been active in performances and teaching in Europe and has performed widely in major festivals in England, Spain, Germany, Italy, Canada and USA. He has worked extensively with the Euro Asian Fusion group Shiva Nova. He also founded South Asian Arts-uk in 1997.
