From 1985 to about 1999 I did standup comedy on a consistent part-time basis in the St. Louis area. Back then I used the stage name Royce Kelly. For some reason, I thought the name Bob Baker was too bland and forgettable. (I've since grown to embrace my real name.)

I was best-known for the funny songs and music parodies I did in my act. Even though I've performed some of those old songs here and there over the years, I hadn't done a proper standup "set" in about 17 years. Until 2016, when my friend Mike McGuire invited me to perform at a comedy show he put together at the Gaslight Theater in St. Louis.

My improv friend Karen Schubert recorded this video from the audience. I wanted to share it with you. I hope you enjoy it :)

Songs featured in this set:
The Georgia Satellites, "Keep Your Hands to Yourself"
Nirvana, "All Apologies" meets Barney the Dinosaur
Nirvana, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" - Brady Bunch Theme Song
The Bangles, "Walk Like an Egyptian" - Erection version :)
Jimi Hendrix, "Purple Haze" meets the Green Acres Theme Song
R.E.M. "Losing My Religion" - Erection song #2
