Which is the easiest language to learn?

As a polyglot, I have been asked many times, "which is the easiest language to learn?" It's a hard question to answer as I found French and Spanish very easy but have met people who found French impossibly hard. I am going to talk about 5 factors which determine just how hard a language will be for you to learn with some interesting examples.
