Vegetable Sellers call out for Lower Fees from Shipping Companies

300 to 400 informal vegetable sellers in Port Moresby spend around four to six thousand a fortnight to transport their vegetables via road and sea. These vegetables which are transported from Hagen and Goroka, usually arrive after three to four days. These sellers are appealing to shipping companies to reduce transport fees, as profits accounted for, are not always achieved. This leaves them making huge losses.
