An excited Michael Tellinger captures the first rehearsal of school children at the renovated UBUNTU Community Hall in Waterval Boven - for a nativity play concert to be held that will involve about 500 children. This is the first time in over 7 years that there is electricity and running water in the hall and the first time in this period that the hall could be used in this way. Renovations were done by myself and a group of young people from the township - keen to improve the life of people in our town. We still need to make some more critical repairs to the kitchen and toilets before we open at the end of November 2014, for the holiday season so that we can offer our community and the children daily activities and social entertainment. This hall will be the nerve-centre of the 23 UBUNTU Community Projects - where we will coordinate them from, and also serve as the community kitchen between 4 and 6pm every day to feed the orphans, the homeless and all those who actively participate in the community projects. Please see our website - www.ubuntuparty.org.za to read about the repairs that had to be made to the badly vandalized hall. We continue to make improvements and the various community projects keep growing - so please make a donation to these activities on the UBUNTU website - http://www.ubuntuparty.org.za/p/donate.html
In love and unity
