During a meeting of European Union environment ministers, it has become clear that the EU still has to clear many hurdles ahead of the international climate change conference in Copenhagen at the end of 2009. Negotiation of the future Copenhagen climate change agreement as well as financing climate change mitigation and adaptation were the issues being discussed during the second day of the informal meeting of the EU Environment Ministers, held today in Prague. This morning we returned back to the international negotiation discussion and focused especially on financing because we know that financing will be a crucial point which we have to solve, Martin Bursík, Czech Environment Minister and President-in-Office of the Council, told journalists. http://en.cop15.dk/
