Delhi is a place full of life with fun activities, dancing and great food but being a girl in the city can be frightening and unsafe. Simple things such as using public transport, going to the market, visiting the toilet or the park can be dangerous for girls. Plan's Safer Cities project is a step towards helping girls become more confident, free and successful allowing them to be all that they can be. Plan's Urban Programme aims to build safe, accountable and inclusive cities with and for girls.
