After identifying all of the complexity and challenges of the building, the SESC engineering team, managed by Mr. Josue Cardoso, came to the conclusion that Hitachi Air Conditioning Brazil was the most qualified company to meet the demands of this project and moreover, it had the best combination and selection of products under the same brand. This advantage was necessary for seamless and quick maintenance periods, and was proven with concrete results of energy efficiency and cost savings.

The solution to this project was a combination of chillers with fan coils and condensation per VRF (Variable Refrigeration Flow) and splits. Acclimatizing control system with VRF units permitted the usage of evaporators in accordance with each environment and maximized energy efficiency and sustainability.

Solutions provided by Hitachi Air Conditioning Brazil:

Ventilation Systems in changing rooms, toilet areasand sports courts.
Exhaust System in changing rooms, kitchens and indoor pool.
Splits of various types and capacities to ensure thermal comfort for visitors and employees in the administrative areas.
For the central air conditioning, which serves the theater, concert halls, foyer, coffee center and dental clinics, it was decided to use the indirect expansion system that combines three chillers and 91 types of conditioning unit fan coils and mini fan coils with economizer enthalpy cycle which allows the external air inlet to reduce the thermal load whenever the outside temperature is below the target value.
To guarantee total safety in case of fire pressurization systems for the stairs and, smoke exhausting systems were installed through out the building.
