The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance ascertaining the whereabouts of the suspect, Eric McCormick. Mr. McCormick is the victim's boyfriend, a 40-year-old male, 5'8" tall and weighs 225 pounds. 

On Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at 8:42 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a female shot inside of 530 Chauncey Street, Apartment 2L, within the confines of the 73 Precinct. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the victim, a F/H/46, unconscious and unresponsive with gunshot wounds to the her head and torso. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital where she was pronounced DOA. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
