I have been toying with the music sequencer program for *NIX, Rosegarden.

I somehow managed to get internal MIDI working and sometimes even playback a pre-programmed MIDI tune.

Now all I need is my m-audio USB cable and will find a way to get external (music synth.) keyboard to play a tune, or to play some keys on the 'board and record to Rosegarden and export to a MIDI file.
