I love the shark movies, I think I mentioned it before, of course as long as they are good and for me the meg was one of the best shark movies I've seen in my life and one of the best I've seen in so far this year. to start, what is the megalodon ?. The megalodon or "carcharodon megalodon" is a species of supposedly extinct giant shark that lived between 19.8 and 2.6 million years ago during the Cenozoic era. it is considered to be the maximum predator of the planet since it is between 18 and 21 meters; larger than a blue whale, it is also said that there was not a predator more lethal than the one. It is assumed that the megalodon is officially extinct however there has been evidence that they could still exist. The most famous sightings of Carcharodon megalodon sharks were picked up by the Australian naturalist David Stead. In the 20th century, it collected reports of a giant white shark that had terrorized the fishermen of Port Stephens. Since most of these witnesses are anonymous their stories are often dismissed by skeptics as anecdotal and of little value. However, these reports, although it does not prove the existence of megalodon, make this mystery an area of interest for many cryptozoologists. but without a doubt the case that intrigues me most as it happened is the submarine killer shark, a documentary about the attack of a giant shark on a group of tourists on South African shores that has been harshly criticized by many claiming that it is false but here I leave the link for you to see it yourself and you can judge it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U0dWMwUmDE Finally I will say that the movie the meg is an excellent movie, it has very good special effects and super epic action scenes. Jason Statham I liked very much in this film and I agree with many that although it is not the best movie of life, at least it is better than many shark movies that are very crazy, the setting is very well achieved and I liked that the film did not develop on American beaches as they usually are. I'm not going to lie: at first I felt a little slow this story, as it was a lot of dialogue and suspense but when the megalodon began to appear I was thrilled as a child. Also the development of the plot facilitated me the things and the truth, in the format in which I saw this film because the truth was something completely new for me. I also loved that they put the song hey Mickey by Tony Basil in the credits, it seemed a very wise idea. So if you have not seen this movie yet, I recommend you see it, if it's worth it.
