Protestors clash at the Capitol over looming Kavanaugh vote

The group was filmed carrying cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, red plastic cups and anti-Kavanaugh posters as they marched toward the Kentucky Republican's home. The 'confirmation kegger' kicked off what promised to be a second day of contentious demonstrations in the capital. Following the Senate's 51-49 procedural vote in favor of advancing the Supreme Court nominee's confirmation, dozens of protesters both for and against the nomination flocked to the offices of undecided Sens Jeff Flake, Susan Collins and Joe Manchin to voice their opinions. At least two people were escorted away from Flake's office in plastic handcuffs. Meanwhile, a large demonstration formed outside the Supreme Court, where several protesters were reportedly arrested for blocking the street.
