This is dallisgrass. It is a tough weed. It looks very similar to some other grassy weeds but you can identify it from the seed stalk. It is a tough weed to kill and will probably require multiple application of an herbicide containing quinclorac. This is one of the chemicals commonly found in weed and crabgrass control products for homeowners.
