"I constantly claimed that Czechoslovakia is a real democracy. That freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and freedom of worship is fully preserved in my country, I cannot say so any longer. Czechoslovakia has become fully totalitarian Police State. I have decided to fight for Czechoslovak Democracy. I am representative of free Czechoslovakia and I cannot accept the Government nominated by President Benes under duress and terror."
