Lyrics
It's not that I was a bad man,
It's not that I was good.
Knew that I wasn't living my life the way I should.
So I got down on my knees on an old cement floor
Bowed my head down to Him and said, "I can't take this anymore"

Chorus
I believe that Mary had a little Lamb,
That He preached the Gospel as the Son of Man
That He died on the Cross for all my sins
Buried in a rich man's tomb, just to rise again.

Lord forgive me for all my sins,
I've committed against you and my fellow man.
Thank you for dying so I might live.
Thank you for the love that only you can give.

Chorus

The night I walked down to that cold water well,
I heard a devil scream as Jesus slammed the gate shut in hell.
Said, "You can't have him, he belongs to me."
To walk in the light and the Truth for all eternity.

Chorus
