Edited version of Somewhere In The Night, where I boosted Barry's breath control at the end of the song. This was spliced together back in the winter of 1978 at WTBS (later WMBS) in A Control. I shortened the song (you can see the initial splice at :06) as I didn't want my listeners to sit through the entire song to get to the "hack". It was played a couple of times on Nite Owl. A copy of this made it across the river to WDHD, a "real" Boston top-40 station where they stretched it back to full length and then played it on air (https://youtu.be/zg7DIGVW8Hs). I'm happy to report that the tape splices are still holding (you will see them speed by about 1:30 mark).
