This was a special day for children who have received free Zoo memberships as part of the Zoo's Gifts of Gratitude Anniversary celebration. They were treated to a continental breakfast, a presentation, live animal shows, and, of course, time to walk around the Zoo and see all the animals. The golden lion tamarins in the Zoo's Rare Animal Conservation Center are always active, which is good for capturing children's attention. On this day, one of the golden lion tamarins also stayed still a little while so I could record my first closeup video of a golden lion tamarin. So these beautiful little creatures were being very good in all ways!
