“When you have a dream and desire, keep the big goal and vision in sight but do not be afraid to start at the bottom and work your way up. Work at the bottom as though you were at the top and vice versa, that’s how the world will notice you and come knocking at your door.”

Dream big and work hard. Do not determine the seemingly small tasks needed to get done in the grand scheme of building a career and business. Edwige Takassi is the Deputy Director-General of Equity Bank in Kinshasa, D.R.C. She completed her masters degree in Management at the elite business school École Supérieure de Commerce de Roeun. Today, Edwige specialises in the finance sector and has , to date, embarked on an impressive international career having worked in Ghana, Luxembourg, Germany and Paris. 

Outside of this Edwige coaches young professionals and young entrepreneurs mainly in financial education and the strengthening of  management skills. Additionally presides over the board of the Togolese fret and logistics company TAAL S.A.
