This race is Heat 2 of the Division 4 (D4) Boys from the 2018 CIF-ss (Southern Section) Cross Country Prelims meet held on November 10 at the Riverside Cross Country Course.  The course is 3 miles.  The Prelims meet decides the 24 teams and up to 15 individuals in each division that will compete in the Finals meet held on the following weekend.

Commentary:  One of the Southern Section stars is featured in this one.  Two-time State Champion Anthony Grover takes us on an exciting ride over the final mile.  Grover and Herold pace with Bragdon through Mile 2 and are 12-13-14.  That long desert straight is fun to watch him eat it up.  Herold saves his best for his final Southern Section race where he will win the title and break 15. 
 Great way to go out.  Foothill Tech finishes 4th here but takes 3rd at Finals and moves on to State where they and JSerra go 5-6.
