Bellamy's Mill was once a thriving pioneer community in Eastern Ontario. Many were enticed by the offer of free land grants offered by the government. They came from the British Isles, Europe and many were British Empire Loyalists from the United States. ... When the railway bypassed Bellamy's Mill in the late 1800's, the town began to die. All that remains now are the memorials of the original settlers and their caretakers... ...who live in the clover above their graves.
