It’s only a matter of time before A.I Corp and by extension, HAVOC unit, are given an an opportunity to strike at the heart of the CyClone’s operation and potentially stop the conflict with the alien threat from progressing further. Everything we’ve been doing has been leading towards such a chance and I don’t doubt that it will be seized upon immediately, once more sending HAVOC out to risk his life for the good of humanity. The threats are only getting more dangerous as time goes on and while we’ve received the odd weapon here or there, we haven’t had a significant upgrade in our effectiveness since picking up the prototype armour so many levels ago.

All that is about to change however. The aliens have at their disposal vastly superior technology, some of which we’ve been using to great effect against them. Pew pews are one thing, but were we to find something truly cutting and edge and devastating that we could turn against the CyClones, A.I Corp would want us to use it. They likely wouldn’t think of the ramifications of giving so much awesome power to one person, but when faced with the human race being wiped out, I imagine that they’d prefer to deal with that problem later when humanity has been saved from the more imminent danger. If that’s a mistake or not we’ll have to find out when the time comes.
