Legendary shredder Kelly Slater is known for conquering big waves, but he says the surfers today are doing stuff that even he can’t hang 10 with.

Slater was in NYC and spoke on the popular Big Wave World Tour that just went down in Pe’ahi, Hawaii with the Jaws Challenge. Slater says what went down in Pe’ahi was “next level,” and admires the level of calculation and risks the riders nowadays are taking.
